Cataclysm is here, so it time for a change or two.

The world has changed, so as a guild we need to change as well. First off, a new way to do loot. We are using the Effort Points/Gear Points (EPGP) loot system. For more information look here. http://www.epgpweb.com/help/system
For the next 2 weeks, we will be handing out Effort Points on raid nights. Also we will not start the decay until January 1st of next year. As another bonus I have decided to convert unused DKP from WOTLK to the effort point system. Basically your unused DKP was divided by 100 to get your effort points, with some decay applied to those who have been MIA for a while.
Our expect first raid date will be the first week of January. I figure 2 weeks to run heroics to get people geared for a 10 man. Effort Points will be awards about 3 times a raid night, from On Time, Mid Way, and End of Raid for 10 points an event. Gear Points will be 40 points per item for Legionaire,s Centaurions will only be charged 20 points. So you can see we have gone done on the grand scale of thing. Other requirements will be a minimum of 200 accrued Effort Points, this prevent new people from getting gear from veteran players.
I will be putting all current raiders to Legionaire status, Officers and myself included. As for Centaurion status, besides what your officer requires, you will need to maintain 2/3 raid attendence. Our new raids willbe Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 7.30 to 10.30 pm. So 9 hours a week, a Cent is expected to raid 6 of those hours. Notice raids are a little shorter. I want to focus more on raiding and less breaks, taking only 1 midway break. Besides attendence, players are expected to have the proper rep levels for the necessary enchants. For example Therazene for your shoulder enchant if you are not an inscriptionist.
