After weeks of work and hard fought battles we chumped the Curator. Not content just to leave our wads of gum on the museum pieces, we decided to take our first tier 4 gear, grab a staff, and then head onwards to the chess event. Many consumables, much time, and large repair bills were used. But we had fun and it was all worth it. That’s what first time boss kills are all about.

Wednesday night was nothing short of awesome. We returned to the Maiden’s room with determination and boots looking for an ass to kick. We had some new people with us, and after a few tries she went down. Not quite on farm yet, but we are learning and getting better with each fight we do.
Next, we headed over to the Opera event. The pairs of ushers were no match for our free action potions and leet kiting skills. Soon we were on stage facing some overacting actors. We didn’t have the right party make up the first try, so we swapped out a mage for another tank, and tried again. 30%. Divine Intervention and soulstone let us try a third time… As they say, third time was the charm. Opera Event cleared.

After a few weeks of building up our roster and training new members we hit Karazhan hard. Steel Legion one shotted the Huntsman, downed Moroes on the second set of tries, and had the Maiden down to 1% before we called it for the night. Things are looking up for Steel Legion. It’s only Tuesday and we are poised to clear the opera event tomorrow.
Rebuilding phase. But hard work pays off. We took the Beast boss and the the Hunter down. Again. On the 18th, Wednesday we’ll go visit Moroes for a dinner party.
We decided we could all get an easy 14g in pocket change from this dragon in Dustwallow Marsh, so we headed over and paid Onyxia a visit, 9 man style.
